When I first came upon this scene, I was taken with the
feeling of fluidity. There seemed to be a quiet sense
of motion underlying what is an otherwise static scene.
The rows of plowed-under corn coupled with the placement
of the tree lines and distant hills enhance the aerial
perspective. The shape of the field creates a feeling
of moving into the scene. A feeling which is contradicted
by the intermittent sense of the flow coming toward the
viewer.
